Mexico Day!
A very busy day!
In the morning we had a drawing competition to see who could create the best Aztec warrior and Aztec clothes. Then, we watched Mr Justo make guacamole and ate/drank some Mexican things. After playtime, we played Patolli, an ancient Aztec game and we broke our pinatas (sorry, English keyboard!). Finally, we had a dancing competition which was won by Emilio after his big "dance-off" with Carlos R!

Remember: Tomorrow is Mexico Day in 4C!
Please remember to bring your food or drink item for tomorrow´s Mexico Day with myself and Mr Justo.
You can bring a white, green or red item of clothing in a bag to change into or you can wear school uniform (it has all three colours!).
I can´t wait to celebrate!

Mental Maths Test 3
Here are both recordings for Mental Maths Test 3. The test is a bit longer this week as I have included 5 second, 10 second and 15 second questions. There are 20 questions in total.
This homework is due in next Thursday (16th June).
Remember that you need to revise areas from today´s mental maths test. For example, learn the meaning of "product" or "increase".

The next few weeks...
As you all know, we have finished all our 4th Grade tests (except weekly spelling and Spanish) but we still have a lot of work to do!!!
The plan for the next few weeks is a work in progress as it will depend how long everything takes and I cannot predict that kind of thing!
We will be:
1. Having Mexican (food and piñata) Day.
2. Making Lucas´Gruffalo production as he has written parts for all of you!
I was convinced by the incredible amount of effort he made: well done Lucas!
3. Finishing off our Aztec work by doing a small project in class.
4. Doing general maths to revise before 5th Grade.
5. Doing some exciting science experiments.
If you know you are not going to be in school until the end of term, please let me know as soon as possible. That will help me to plan exactly when and what we will do.
