Calculator
Thank you to Pablo's mum for pointing this out.
There is no calculator on the material list and you will need one in 4th Grade.
We would prefer you to have a simple calculator but if you have an old scientific one from a brother or sister you can use that.
In primary school we only do simple calculations on the calculator (addition, division, subtraction, multiplication) and we do a lot of work on decimal numbers.
A lot of children spend many minutes in the end of term test stressing out because they have turned their calculator onto the wrong function!
You do not need to buy this exact calculator but this is an example of a simple calculator.

Netball
This is the first sport we will play next year. Although the adult game is only played by women, every child in England plays netball in primary school. It is a very easy game to play and it's really fun. It is my favourite sport and I hope that after September you will love it too.
September's topics!
3C/4C!
This is what we will be studying in September so I will add some websites for you to look at if you get bored in the holidays.
1. Romans and Celts in Topic
2. Life Cycles in Science
3. Instructions and Roald Dahl in Literacy.
4. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division methods in Maths.
5. Powerpoint in ICT.
6. Netball in PE.
7. Picasso and cubism in Art.
It's going to be so much fun!!
Above all, remember to relax A LOT too!
